The Vocal Coach - Mike Olsen
Born and raised in the pleasant little town know as Vermilion, Mike has managed to make a name for himself. Singing and Acting from toddlerhood, Mike has gained his musical credit through a plethora of venues. Airbands, Skits, Piano Lessons, Church, Choir, Band, Drama Club, and The Shower to name a few… in that order. But admittance into Vermilion Theatre Productions has been nothing but pure bliss for Mike. Joining Vermilion Theatre Productions in their 2003 production of Little Shop Of Horrors, Mike is proud to say he is still around and kicking. Being one of the original cast members means a few things: 1. He's no Spring Chicken. 2. He has over 10 years of Musical Theatre Experience. 3. It's his way of life, not a hobby. Mike can give a rockin' testimonial of what Vermilion Theatre Productions has done and meant to him, but he would prefer you just came to a production and find out for yourself. Acting speaks louder than words! Giving back to the 'up and coming' generation of 'Theatre Geeks' is what its all about for this vocal coach. Mike is currently in his 4th year of Education at the University of Alberta.

Krista's artistry and personal touch has been one of greatest assets to the group. Taking on intricate full cast numbers isn't anything new for this choreographer. But there is something to be said about her knack to work one-on-one with each student to bring out their potential and confidence. The precision and expertise she brings to the stage is evident in every production she touches. Having choreographed productions over the years, Krista's puts her all into each and every direction she makes.
